Salsa Club

Welcome to the Georgia Tech Salsa Club homepage. Formed in April 2006, the Salsa Club at Georgia Tech brings classes, dance parties, nightlife, performance, and competitions to students, faculty, and staff interested in club-style Latin dancing.

We offer a wide range of Latin dance classes for our members; the lessons are held each week at the CRC, the Exhibition Hall, or the Student Center. We offer salsa on 1, bachata, and zouk classes that cater to beginner to advancer levels of dancers.

Twice a year, we hold our Salsa Social event at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center. Entry is free for members and is open to the public for a small entry fee. At the beginning of the event we have beginner salsa and bachata lessons and we also have exciting performances throughout the night. We usually have 200+ people attend this event and we believe it is the best Salsa social in Atlanta. :)

We also organize monthly outings to various salsa events around Atlanta. Don't have a car? We organize car pools to these events.

Our club is one of the most active salsa groups in Atlanta--it is rare to go to a salsa event where you don't find several of our members dancing.
