Honor Advisory Council
About
We are a welcoming group of students passionate about building and maintaining Georgia Tech's commitment to academic integrity. We do this in three ways: directly advising students, holding ethics and academic integrity seminars, and hosting fun outreach events to involve the Tech community. Our group also holds bonding nights and service events so that our members can get to know each other well!
We work closely with the Office of Student Integrity by advising students found responsible of academic misconduct through a personalized action plan. Our members serve as resources for students by being knowledgeable about the honor code and professional ethics and by holding ethics seminars for anyone in the community to attend. We also promote awareness of the honor code through various events which include our annual Honor Week and AI & AI Con, which consists of a series of outdoor games, giveaways, speaker events, arts & crafts, banner signings, etc.
There are many opportunities for exposure to professional/leadership development, event planning, marketing, and more within Honor Advisory Council! There is a required interview process in order to become a member. Please reach out at our email honor@gatech.edu or fill out the application form on our LinkTree (https://linktr.ee/gthac) if you are interested!
