Since its establishment in 1958, SWE at Georgia Tech has actively given engineering students a unique place and voice within the engineering industry. Our organization is centered around a passion for our members’ success and continues to evolve with the challenges and opportunities reflected in today’s exciting engineering and technology specialties. We invite you to explore the values, principles, and priorities that guide our initiatives and learn how, together, we can continue to make a lasting impact on the future.

Member Testimonials
"Over the years, SWE has become my passion and a huge part of my identity as a Georgia Tech student. I love SWE for its diverse growth opportunities through professional and technical development workshops, K-12 STEM outreach, fun social events, and more. I got my first internship at SWE national conference, developed leadership skills on exec board, and have made good friends in different majors and grade levels. I’m so grateful to be part of this talented and supportive community dedicated to empowering women in STEM!" ~ Hannah Lin, Class of 2021
"SWE has been such a life changing club for me for two reasons. The first one was the mentorship program where I was paired up with an amazing mentor Toral, who happened to also be the president last year and she really helped me with my resume and classes. The second thing was that I ended up applying and interning at a company that impressed me during their presentation at one of SWE’s general body meetings. I’m eternally grateful to SWE for all these opportunities and I hope others will have the chance to experience SWE as well." ~ Lauren Widjaja, Class of 2022
