Sponsored by the Georgia Tech Center for the Study of Women, Science, and Technology (WST Center) and Georgia Tech Housing and Residence Life, the Women, Science, and Technology Learning Community is housed in Stein and Goldin Houses (4th S. A
&B). The goals of the Women, Science, and Technology Learning Community include enhancing the academic and professional development of its resident women undergraduate and graduate students, who may be in any major or graduate program, and enabling a research
network connecting faculty and students. The Women, Science, and Technology Learning Community offers events and initiatives addressing educational and professional issues for students in all fields, including
- Mentoring and research partnerships with faculty members
- Office hours with WST co-director and graduate partners
- Dinners with guest speakers from the Georgia Tech community and beyond
- Optional WST minor courses
The Women, Science, and Technology Learning Community also sponsors extra-curricular initiatives for residents and joins with others in the Georgia Tech community in participating in WST Center events such as campus receptions, lectures, and research panels.
You must complete this application and all required Georgia Tech Department of Housing forms to apply to live in the Women, Science, and Technology Learning Community housing in 4th St. (Goldin House or Stein House). Applications to live
in the WST Learning Community in 2022-23 are due Friday, January 28, 2022, by 5pm.
